Wet-tested by Aqua Stiles on each filter with its kit: the Fluval FX2 with the 1-extension FX2 kit, the FX4 with the 2-extension FX4 kit, and the FX6 with the 3-extension FX6 kit. The inlet fits the existing FX outlet rubber boot; check your tank space and outlet connection before ordering. Water movement depends on filter settings, configuration, placement and maintenance.

Before use, safety & care
Thoroughly rinse every part in clean, dechlorinated water before placing it in your aquarium. Do not use soap or household detergents. Inspect for damage, sharp edges or loose material. Install securely and support the bar so its weight does not strain the outlet connection. Keep the assembly inside the aquarium.
Buyers are responsible for checking suitability for their equipment, water conditions and livestock. Check jet direction, openings and clearances, especially around fry and small shrimp. Monitor livestock and water flow after installation and adjustment, and remove the product if any concern arises.
Inspect and clean the holes, passages and joints regularly. Compatibility testing does not guarantee suitability for every aquarium or species.

Which kit should I choose?
Choose the kit for your filter. We tested the FX2 kit (1 extension) on the FX2, the FX4 kit (2 extensions) on the FX4 and the FX6 kit (3 extensions) on the FX6. Each extension adds 5.91 in (150 mm) of assembled reach, and counts are totals per kit, not per side.
Can I add length later?
Yes. The Spray Bar Extension + Locking Swivel add-on fits any Aqua Stiles spray bar kit.
Can I take it apart to clean it?
Yes. The threaded sections come apart, so you can clean the holes and joints or rearrange the bar.
Is this a Fluval part?
No. It is an independently designed aftermarket accessory. Aqua Stiles is not affiliated with or endorsed by Fluval.
